Four Summertime Recipes That Will Make You Say, "Y'all!!"

Y'all Sauce is a Winston-Salem based sauce company that is really taking off across the state. Grab your bottles of sauce at Buie's Market and get to cooking!


 

Mississippi Street Corn


You Will Need:


3 to 4 ears of yellow or white corn

10 oz of cotija cheese

1 bunch of cilantro

2-3 limes

1 bottle of Mississippi Comeback Sauce


Prep: Shuck corn and wash off all the silks. Wash cilantro and rough chop. Cut lime into wedges where you should get about six wedges out of each lime.


Cook: Preheat grill up to 400 degrees. Grill corn on all sides for six minutes. Remove from grill, drizzle with Mississippi Comeback Sauce, crumble cotija chesse, add cilantro and squeeze limes.


Eat: We just raised the bar on your grilled corn. Y'all are welcome! Now invite some friends and enjoy!


 

Grilled Chicken Thighs


You Will Need:


4 bone-in chicken thighs

2 Tablespoons of Kosher Salt

1 Tablespoon of Black Pepper

1 Tablespoon of Oregano

1 Tablespoon of Cumin

1 Tablespoon of Paprika

1 Bottle of Tennessee Jezebel Sauce


Prep: Mix spices together and season chicken thighs. Place seasoned thighs in a bowl and place in the refrigerator for at least one hour (best over night) to drawn out moisture of the thighs.


Cook: Pull out of refrigerator and pour half of the bottle of Tennessee Jezebel Sauce for chicken to have a quick marinate. Throw onto out door grilled and grill on each side for 8-10 minutes. Bast with more Tennessee Jezebel Sauce until you have a nice looking piece of chicken.


Eat: Serve hot and enjoy, Y’all!


 

Summer Salad


You Will Need:


1 bulb of fennel (thin sliced)

2 ears of corn (shucked)

1 pint of rainbow cherry or grape tomatoes (halved)

1 container of fresh spinach leaves

Dash of kosher salt

Dash of black pepper

1 Bottle of Mississippi Comeback Sauce



Prep: Cut corn off the cob. Cut tomatoes in half


Mix: Add corn and tomatoes to fennel and spinach in a bowl. Add Mississippi Comeback sauce, salt and pepper and lightly toss.


Eat: Serve in a bowl or on plate and enjoy.


 

Bluegrass Ribeye


You Will Need:


2 Ribeye Cut Steak

2 Tablespoons salt

1 Tablespoon black pepper

1 Tablespoon red pepper flake

1 Tablespoon oregano

1 Tablespoon garlic powder

1 Tablespoon cumin

1 bottle of Y’all Company Henry Bain Sauce


Prep: Preheat the grill on high heat or make sure your coals are hot! Mix seasonings (salt, pepper, red pepper flake, oregano, garlic powder, cumin) together in a bowl. Brush about a tablespoon of Y'all Company Henry Bain on each side of the ribeye then season both sides of each ribeye.


Cook: Add steaks to grill and cook for 3 minutes. Rotate steaks 45 degree angle and cook for another 3 minutes. This will help get your diamond grill mark on the steaks. Flip over steaks and repeat the same process. Steaks should be a med-rare temp (135 degrees if you have a meat thermometer). Remove steaks from the grill and let them sit for five minutes.


Eat: Slather with more Y'all Company Henry Bain Sauce and enjoy!
